Interpersonal Listening is the first listening course that ED students must take. In this course, students will learn about language functions that are generally used in conversations, such as introducing self, giving directions, ordering at a restaurant, answering phone calls, etc. It is hoped that their basic listening skills for simple conversations are improved.

Actually,I've never want study at this faculty... I wanted study at Theology... I was accepted at Theology,but my father forced me to study in this faculty... At first,I was so angry with him... My name is Indah Permata Sari but my family and friends usually call me Iin. I live at Salatiga since I was child. Salatiga is my father hometown but my mother came from Surabaya. I’m the second child at my family. My brother 3 years old older than me and he is follow a lecture at IPB right now.
I enjoyed listen to the music especially pop and classical. Because music always make me feel much more better. I love the sound of violin so from some years ago I also learn how to play it. Beside that I also love cooking. At my free time I usually make cake, soup, fried chicken or something else for my little family. Watching a movie and reading a novel also included to something that I like. Because movie and novel bring many stories to imagine.
Noodle is my favorite food and I like the spicy one. I love eat watermelon too and I prefer when it without seed. Many peoples love durian and eat a lot of it but I don’t know why I can’t eat it more than 2 pieces.
Beach is a wonderful place for me. Looking far far away to the sea and feel that salty water at my feet is so relaxing. The sound of the wave, the wind and the warm sun light always bring a good mood to me. Being there also make me realize about how great is our God.
Talk about my future, I want to be a kindergarten teacher because I like to have a direct interaction with children. And being a teacher also my dream since I was at elementary school. So I think joining English Department is a best way for me.

Well at this time I’ll just introduce my self. My full name is Hezky Charisma Budiono, but everyone call me Hezky. This year I became 17 years old on January, 11th, it is because I was born in 1994, in Salatiga. I love English very much and that’s why I enter the English Department and majoring in English right now. Although my background in High School was enter the Science class, but somehow, I love English as well. I remember, when I have to pick which department I should take, I thought medical faculty would be great, but unfortunately the fee was highly expensive which my parents couldn’t bear it. Instead of having a great disappointment, I try to think positive and looking for other lesson that I love to learn, and finally I heard that this English Department of Satya Wacana was great ‘til this time. And I’ve made up my mind and hardly believe that this Department will make my path to a successful life in the future.
Talking about myself, I’m an extrovert person, love to make friends, and never cover up any bad sides of mine. My hobby are reading books – especially novels, listening to music – usually hip hop, R n B, Pop , and K-Pop as well – you know the Korean Pop songs and anything that related to it especially the dance part, watching (qualified) movies, singing – I sing for God at Church, and my favorite one – dancing. Dance like a part of my life which can’t be separated. If I don’t dance even for a day, I will feel that a part of my life is missing at the time. But when I dancing I can express the feelings which can’t be spoken or even can’t be done by an action. Well, I can say that dancing represent everything in my life. Usually I do Hip Hop dance, but traditional as well and sometimes Romantic dance which I combined with the Hip Hop. Thanks to Lord that He gave me opportunity to be a dance teacher, it was a great experience and improves my skill at the same time.
I don’t like eat to much, I like to eat healthy food, and my favorite food is something that you called ‘tempe’. Hello.. My name is Efrita Christi. Just call me Ita. I am originally from Pati, Central Java, but I was born in Singkawang, Kalimantan Barat. At the age of twelve, I moved to Pati. But during attending lecture at English Department of SWCU, I live in Salatiga, in a boarding house. It is located at Kemiri II, back-part of SWCU campus.
I’m now at fifth semester. And my best part activity is attending lectures. I don’t take part-time work either inside or outside the campus, e.g. LK (Lembaga Kemahasiswaan) or other courses. However, I join in some KBM of ED, events, and as committee. For example, SHED, EDPOW, COMSERVE, EDLT, seminars, and some faculty’s events. I enjoy those activities very much although it sometimes spends my break time, my energy, even few of my money. However, I get a lot of benefits from those activities. I get not only a lot of friends from older till younger 'angkatan', but also experiences in how to get along with people. It really trains me how to socialize with people before I enter job or profession field. It can be a foothold in future life. Therefore, my time at college is my chance to develop and train myself.

I live at Salatiga since I was child.
Salatiga is my father hometown but my mother came from Surabaya.
I’m the second child at my family. My brother 3 years old older than me and he is follow a lecture at IPB right now.
I enjoyed listen to the music especially pop and classical. Because music always make me feel much more better. I love the sound of violin so from some years ago I also learn how to play it.
Beside that I also love cooking. At my free time I usually make cake, soup, fried chicken or something else for my little family.
Watching a movie and reading a novel also included to something that I like. Because movie and novel bring many stories to imagine.
Noodle is my favorite food and I like the spicy one. I love eat watermelon too and I prefer when it without seed. Many peoples love durian and eat a lot of it but I don’t know why I can’t eat it more than 2 pieces.
Beach is a wonderful place for me. Looking far far away to the sea and feel that salty water at my feet is so relaxing. The sound of the wave, the wind and the warm sun light always bring a good mood to me. Being there also make me realize about how great is our God.
Talk about my future, I want to be a kindergarten teacher because I like to have a direct interaction with children. And being a teacher also my dream since I was at elementary school. So I think joining English Department is a best way for me.

ReplyDeleteWell at this time I’ll just introduce my self. My full name is Hezky Charisma Budiono, but everyone call me Hezky. This year I became 17 years old on January, 11th, it is because I was born in 1994, in Salatiga. I love English very much and that’s why I enter the English Department and majoring in English right now. Although my background in High School was enter the Science class, but somehow, I love English as well. I remember, when I have to pick which department I should take, I thought medical faculty would be great, but unfortunately the fee was highly expensive which my parents couldn’t bear it. Instead of having a great disappointment, I try to think positive and looking for other lesson that I love to learn, and finally I heard that this English Department of Satya Wacana was great ‘til this time. And I’ve made up my mind and hardly believe that this Department will make my path to a successful life in the future.
Talking about myself, I’m an extrovert person, love to make friends, and never cover up any bad sides of mine. My hobby are reading books – especially novels, listening to music – usually hip hop, R n B, Pop , and K-Pop as well – you know the Korean Pop songs and anything that related to it especially the dance part, watching (qualified) movies, singing – I sing for God at Church, and my favorite one – dancing. Dance like a part of my life which can’t be separated. If I don’t dance even for a day, I will feel that a part of my life is missing at the time. But when I dancing I can express the feelings which can’t be spoken or even can’t be done by an action. Well, I can say that dancing represent everything in my life. Usually I do Hip Hop dance, but traditional as well and sometimes Romantic dance which I combined with the Hip Hop. Thanks to Lord that He gave me opportunity to be a dance teacher, it was a great experience and improves my skill at the same time.
I don’t like eat to much, I like to eat healthy food, and my favorite food is something that you called ‘tempe’. It’s originally from Indonesia, healthy, and very delicious food – it’s cheap as well, haha. People say I’m good at imitating people personality and behavior, and maybe that’s my hidden talent, haha. Well, that’s a brief introducing from me, by the time you’ll know more about me because we’ll meet every Listening class. So, se you then, God Bless ^^

For example, SHED, EDPOW, COMSERVE, EDLT, seminars, and some faculty’s events. I enjoy those activities very much although it sometimes spends my break time, my energy, even few of my money. However, I get a lot of benefits from those activities. I get not only a lot of friends from older till younger 'angkatan', but also experiences in how to get along with people. It really trains me how to socialize with people before I enter job or profession field. It can be a foothold in future life. Therefore, my time at college is my chance to develop and train myself.
